In 2024, the RMIT University Student Union held their largest-ever Student General Meeting. Over 500 students turned out to cast their vote in the Referendum on Palestine. Students overwhelmingly voted for RUSU to condemn Israel's war on Gaza and for the union to stand for a free Palestine.
